Templates store reusable message bodies and the automatic text signature.

Message Signature

  • The Message Signature field controls the automatic footer added to outbound texts.
  • Keep STOP opt-out wording in the signature so customers know how to unsubscribe.
  • Changing the signature affects new outbound messages only; old thread history does not change.

Saved Templates

  • Create reusable message bodies for common replies.
  • Use placeholders like {customer_name} when a template should personalize the message.
  • Archived templates stay out of the active picker but remain in history.
