Phone Setup Help

Phone Setup pairs the Android gateway app with this Quacker account.

Setup Flow

  • Download the Quacker Android gateway APK.
  • Install the app on the gateway phone and allow the required SMS/network permissions.
  • Create a pairing token or QR code, then scan it from the Android gateway app.
  • Once paired, the phone transports outbound and inbound SMS for Quacker.

Permission Notes

  • The gateway phone must be allowed to send, receive, and read SMS/MMS.
  • The gateway app also needs network access and foreground/data sync service permissions so it can report heartbeats and send status.
